Sandwich IL Weather

The Sandwich IL Weather website, which is owned and operated as a free service by Tom Rumish Website Development was switched to a dedicated computer this past week.
This new computer is for the sole purpose of gathering information from our outside weather station and uploading that information to the Sandwich IL Weather website. The new computer will not be used for any other purpose other than the Sandwich IL Weather website. This rather costly change was made to increase the reliability of the weather website. In addition, a second computer has been configured with the necessary software and connections. This second computer will be used as a back-up for the new primary computer used for the Sandwich IL Weather website.
Sandwich IL Weather provides free LOCAL weather information for Sandwich, Illinois which is updated on the web every 30 minutes. The weather data is taken right at our location in Sandwich Illinois and is not compiled from statistics from airports and other sources which are actually distant from Sandwich and are not truly local.
In addtion to the local weather data for Sandwich, Illinois the Sandwich IL Weather website has many links to regional, state and national weather information. Live radar, forecasts, snowfall, precipitation, and a countless number of other links exist.

Contract for new website

Tom Rumish Website design has obtained a contract to design and deploy a new website from 108 EAST. 108 EAST is a fine dining restaurant located in Sandwich, Illinois and was formerly know as "Rick's".
Being in the southeast corner of DeKalb County, Illinois, 108 EAST customers come from many of the surrounding counties and are not from just DeKalb County. 108's clientel very often travel from Kendall County, LaSalle County, Kane County and Will County to enjoy a wide selection from both their lunch and dinner menus. A fine selection of Pasta's, Chicken, Seafood and Steaks & Chops are included in the fare offered by 108 EAST.
Though the new website is not online as yet, the URL for the website will be www.108east.com .
